Boat trip: Letea Forest
The largest sandbank in the Delta, with 700 hectares that have been a nature reserve since 1938, and its colonies of wild horses.
The packages
Two packages with meals, transfer and boat trips included
Both start from the landing stage at Murighiol and include the boat transfer, full board and the boat trips into the Delta. The difference between them is one extra day, spent at Sulina.

Three nights at Crișan, with the boat transfer from Murighiol, full board and two boat trips — Mila 23 and Letea Forest.
- Boat transfer Murighiol – Crișan and back
- Three nights in a twin double, a double with a king-size bed, or the apartment
- Full board — dinner on the day you arrive, full meals on the full days, breakfast on the day you leave
- Day 1 — the boatman waits at the Murighiol landing stage at 15:00; an hour along the canals to Crișan; in the evening, a fish main course, a homemade dessert and a welcome țuică
- Day 2 — breakfast at 09:00, then the trip to Mila 23; lunch with fish dishes; a free afternoon for fishing, bicycles or kayaks; dinner in the evening
- Day 3 — the trip to Letea Forest, with a safari tour through the reserve; lunch on the way back, then free time and dinner
- Day 4 — breakfast around 09:00 and the boat back to Murighiol

- The Sulina day — along the navigable branch to the mouth where the Danube meets the Black Sea, past the town's promenade and the Old Lighthouse; weather permitting, out to sea as far as the wreck, then along the canal to the beach
- At Sulina — the serviced beach with parasols and terraces, the wild beach, the Old Sulina exhibition, the Heroic Sailors' Monument, the Pirate's Grave in the Cosmopolitan Cemetery, and the harbour promenade
- The return to the guesthouse at 16:00, where dinner is served

The boats are ours and they leave from our own jetty. The packages include two or three of these, depending on which one you pick.

The Delta's second forest reserve, on the Caraorman sandbank. It can be taken instead of the Letea trip, at no extra cost.
