Crișan can only be reached by water

There is no road to Crișan. You leave the car in the guarded car park at the Murighiol landing stage, and our boatman picks you up from there. The trip takes about an hour, along the Sfântu Gheorghe branch, the Uzlina canal and lake, Lake Isacova, and the Litcov, Lung and Caraorman canals, until it reaches the Sulina branch. It isn't a transfer formality — it's the first excursion of your stay.
